A model guide on how to take the perfect wedding photos
It’s easy to take naturally beautiful photos when you’re in love & you’re lost in the love of your life’s eyes. But for some lovers, when it’s your big day & you’re nervous, you had 100 things to think about prior & picture taking isn’t exactly your forte…it can be pretty tricky & nerve racking to nail the perfect pose.
My sweet husband & I had the pleasure of being asked to model for a “styled shoot” …a beautiful collaboration where wedding stylists, glam squad extraordinaires, an insanely beautiful venue, top of the line jewelers, couture wedding dress designers, cream of the crop florists & catering that could make you cry it was so good…come together to create the most stunning editorial spread you’ve ever seen. My husband doesn’t like taking pictures at all, let alone with a whole team of people watching his every move, but he said yes he would do it with me, for me, so we did…ain’t he just as sweet as southern tea 😉
I wanted to share our experience with all the brides-to-be and give y’all some ideas on where to have your special day & what venders to use if you’re in the Southern California area, posing for that perfect picture that I lovingly refer to as “The Money Shot” or just to help get you a little more prepared to make an amazing unforgettable memory.
My blushing brides…if you are anywhere near the southern California area, do yourself a kindness and check out these amazing artists who made this creative collaboration possible. Their work speaks for itself. Shoot fire…fly them in to where ever you get married! That’s how amazing they are!

May 17, 2017Thank you for this informative article on wedding photos. I know that we are planning a sonoma county wedding up in wine country - and there are a few venues we really want to look into simply for the fact that they would be great for photos. We want the scenery to be aesthetic and beautiful. There are some great event centers and venues in Sonoma County so we are perusing through the list to see if we can find the right one! Thank you for these tips and we will definitely take them into account when it comes time to take our pictures!
