Thanksgiving Tablescape & Decor

Screen Shot 2016-11-16 at 9.55.42 AMAhhh…my favorite time of year is here again. FALL! And the entire holiday season, of course. I love all the baking, decorating & entertaining…shocker! I have so much to be “Thankful” for but, being so busy, what I am most thankful for  is easy clean up after all the entertaining 😉 I feel like a genius for finding these little gems, so of course I’m going to share my brilliant idea with my dahl babies!

Have y’all heard of Sophistiplate?! OMGGG It looks like fine china, but they are PAPER! Disposable Paper Tableware is sweeping the Dahl house let me just tell you! Perfect if you are doing a Friendsgiving and feeding five courses to your animalistic, savages aka friends ;)! These amazing little miracles come in elegant designs that you can mix and match for any and every occasion. Um, I will be using these all the time with all the entertaining I do. And they made my Thanksgiving table so pretty… I call it the Sophistiplate Tablescape! (pics below)

Excited to share with y’all some of my fav fall finds from our home & table to Pinterest & my fav bloggers.

Pinecone garland intertwining with brown glitter & sequins pumpkins, mercury glass gourds, lit up antique owl, silver birch candles on antler stands, white pumpkins & picture frames was one of the scenes covering our mantle this Thanksgiving.

I used a over-sized galvanized antique tray to hold white spray painted antlers, white pumpkins, pinecone garland, raw cotton & candles for the fall centerpiece on our kitchen island. Looks really pretty when candles are flickering!

Here is the Dahl Friends Thanksgiving Table … For the color scheme I used whites & browns & golds & silvers. And for the materials I used a mix of white pumpkins, brown, silver & gold glitter & sequins pumpkins, pinecones, acorns, candles & raw cotton. I layered 3 table runners. I found the “THANKFUL” table runner at TJ Maxx Homegoods (similar runner) & thought it would be perfect to layer under fur & finished it off topped with a rustic mix of a gold & silver runner.

Nanci Dahl
About me

Welcome Dahlings, I’m so happy you’ve taken the time to drop by my circus. I started this blog because I hope to inspire my fellow dahls with tips on how to be happy, healthy & fabulous! There will be fashion, beauty & travel tips from years in the entertainment industry. Everything from planning a party to trying to get pregnant…you’ll find it right here! We’ll talk about my “letter to God” to find my soul-mate, getting married in just 6 months, moving across the country from Nashville, Tennessee to Orange County, California and combining our country-coastal lifestyles together. I come from a big Italian family so there will be food & lots of it! I’ll share my Dahlicious recipes I learned how to make while being a contestant on MasterChef…and some family recipes that I will most likely be disowned for sharing ;) Please leave me any questions, comments or concerns…I really appreciate all your sweet support! I’m looking forward to getting to know all my dahls & making some new friends!
